At Greenfield Partners, we know that many start-ups have a unique potential for growth but lack the access to capital and management expertise necessary to successfully execute their vision.
We believe entrepreneurs should not have to leave Michigan to acquire the necessary financing and expertise they require to grow. We have cultivated partnerships with the University of Michigan in an effort to support start-ups within our community, and have awarded grants through the University of Michigan Engineering school's TechArb to student run start-ups.
In our portfolio companies, we expect to assist in strategic planning, monitor progress towards the company's goals and objectives, and provide capital for internal and acquisitive growth.
Together with a company's key managers, we function principally as part of an active board of advisors. We have had extensive experience in operational management in manufacturing companies, finance, financial analysis, engineering, and merger and acquisition planning and analysis. Quality, cost control, management of product and market complexities, multi-national competition, technology, general management, and organization structure are challenges we have successfully met in our broad range of entrepreneurial businesses.
