About the Transaction:

Brushstrokes Fine Arts, Inc., a manufacturer of art reproductions using a patented process, was a Canadian corporation with facilities in Toronto, Canada and Juarez, Mexico. In June of 2011 the company entered receivership in Ontario, and in August that year a Canadian affiliate of Greenfield Commercial Credit acquired all of the assets of Brushstroke through the Court appointed Receiver. A combination of principals of the affiliate, Greenfield Partners and a Michigan manufacturer founded Brushstroke Fine Arts, LLC, a Michigan limited liability company, which has established a new facility in Auburn Hills, Michigan.

Key Value Creation Metrics:

• One month after acquiring the company, its Toronto 40,000 sq. ft. facility was closed and totally relocated to a 25,000 sq. ft. facility in Michigan.
• Developed and renegotiated all supplier agreements both in the US and Mexico.
• Provided financing.
